Naturally Organized Nene

If you’re like me, you enjoy setting up camp to work at your local coffee shop. It’s a great way to escape the interruptions we sometimes have at home. So you can only imagine how devastated I was when all the coffee shops closed their inside sitting areas due to COVID-19. Feeling grateful that I have a home office, but it was in need of a facelift. But how could I justify spending money on a new desk during a pandemic, so I started off by painting the desk and de-cluttering the space. Surely that would make a difference and it did!!! I didn’t even spend a dime I used a quart size of sample paint I had in the garage. Next, I painted the room myself. If you take your time and use that Frog tape you will save hundreds on hiring a painter. One of my favorite things to do is to go shopping in my own house. I was amazed that I had a gold mirror hanging in the office that was an exact match with a mirrored chest I was using as a night stand in the guest room. Who doesn’t enjoy saving money, maybe there’s a room in your home that needs a facelift – so grab a trash bag or two, get rid of somethings, and give those walls a fresh coat of paint. I guarantee this will make your room feel like new.
